Located in the heart of the City of London, 10 Chiswell Street is a prominent commercial office building positioned between Moorgate, Barbican and Old Street, forming part of a well-established and highly desirable commercial estate.

Defined Interiors were appointed by their longstanding client, Royal London Asset Management, to deliver a high-quality CAT B fit-out to the first floor, creating a fully operational, tenant-ready workplace aligned with both the building’s market positioning and the client’s wider asset strategy.

Project Overview
A key priority of the project is to establish a calm, comfortable, and high-performing environment that supports wellbeing and productivity. By incorporating acoustic zoning elements such as screens, ceiling tiles, and wall panels, the design effectively manages sound levels within the space. This helps to reduce reverberation and background noise, allowing occupants to concentrate, collaborate, and work more efficiently in a setting that feels both professional and welcoming.
ILE Solutions Role
As specialist installers, we were responsible for delivering and integrating bespoke acoustic solutions designed to enhance spatial zoning and sound control. This included the installation of flexible acoustic zoning screens, acoustic ceiling tiles, acoustic wall panels, and blinds, all tailored to improve both the functionality and acoustic performance of the interior environment.
Scope of Works

– Precision alignment of ceiling tiles in existing ceiling grid
– Integration and coordination with lighting layouts and M&E services to ensure unobstructed performance and aesthetics
– Installation of new blinds and across multiple areas
